MRS, the leading independent player in institutional catering in France, has just acquired Lyon-based Ascanis. Created by Olivier Woille in 1999, Ascanis has developed a catering business focused on quality in the Rhône-Alpes region where it operates 24 restaurants that favor fresh produce and short circuits.
With the integration of Ascanis, the MRS group, under the leadership of its founding Chairman Gilles Terzakou, is pursuing its development strategy and consolidating its presence in the Rhône-Alpes region. The operation contributes to the achievement of the group's growth objectives (+ 15% per year since 5 years) and allows the group to strengthen its regional position favorably on the "well-being and health diet".
