Member of the bar since 1984, Armel Pécheul worked as an individual before joining the Ginestié cabinet in 2008 as a consultant.

Armel Pécheul has developed, for more than twenty-five years, a recognized experience and area of expertise in the main litigation of the public Law : community law, contract law and public procurement, town planning and development law, local authority law, administrative liability.

After studies of law and political science, he became a State Doctor of Law in 1981. He has been an associate professor of public law since 1984.

Armel Pécheul has also been leading, since 1984, a academic and lawyer activity. Currently Professor of public law at the University of Angers, he is also a member of a research laboratory in public law at the University of Paris V. He has published numerous books and articles in these different disciplines of public law.

He also has solid experience in the exercise of administrative responsibilities. He was notably Rector of the Academy.
