Aurélia Damas was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018 and joined the firm in 2023.
She has cross-disciplinary expertise in company taxation and asset taxation. She mainly advises French and international groups on all aspects of company taxation (tax audits, restructurings, due diligence, taxation on contracts, transfer pricing, taxation of flows, coordination with foreign contacts, local taxation). In addition, she assists companies and individuals regarding tax audits and litigation. She also advises individuals, residents and non-residents on asset taxation (returns, adjustments, real estate structuring, trusts).
She co-authored various articles in the Revue de Droit Fiscal (Tax Law Revue) and the Revue Fiscalité Internationale (International Taxation Review)
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND TRAINING
After spending 6 years as an associate at the law firm Stehlin & Associés (now known as Everlaw & Law), she joined Ginestié Magellan Paley-Vincent in April 2023. She studied law at the Université de Paris II Panthéon – Assas, including one year at the university of Birmingham as part of the Erasmus Exchange Program. She graduated from the Collège de Droit and obtained a Master’s degree in international taxation from Assas university in partnership with HEC.
